La Station is a space to be explored. Sheltered beneath a welcoming wooden structure, it frames the landscape in a series of perspectives, allowing us to rediscover and reappropriate our territory. At the heart of the installation, which features a fun suspended seat, visitors can float, as though hovering, facing the landscape. La Station is a place to relax, contemplate and play. The movement of the bench encourages users to interact with one another, reminding us of the importance of behaving in a way which is considerate towards others.

Graduates of the Strasbourg École Supérieure d’Architecture, Nicolas Grun and Pierre Laurent quickly became interested in the relationship between art and architecture. After several years in an architectural firm, they founded Les Nouveaux Voisins, creating architectural installations for biennials and festivals across France.
