The Constellations de Metz international festival is one of Metz’s must-see summer events, setting the pace for the city’s cultural and tourist life, and extending beyond its boundaries.
Artistic exploration, day and night
Constellations de Metz is an invitation to come and explore the city as it is transformed through a rich and diverse program that combines various art forms. This year, the two routes, nocturnal and diurnal, are built around a common theme: “Free Space(s)” .

The works in this program reinterpret public spaces and highlight the city’s creative dimension. The artists challenge and question visitors, enabling them to see the city from a new perspective.

Following on from the actions implemented in 2023, the City of Metz is pursuing its commitment to making Constellations de Metz an even more accessible and inclusive festival.
The festival has put in place the Souffleurs d’Images initiative, in conjunction with the Souffleurs de Sens association.

All Pierres Numériques and Art & Jardins sites, as well as the Urban Art program, are accessible to people with reduced mobility.
For the video mapping, a special area has been set aside for people with reduced mobility and those suffering from agoraphobia.

By 2023, more than a million visitors had tried out the Constellations de Metz experience. In light of this growing and indisputable success, the festival is back for an 8th edition.
Metz’s international Constellations festival is deeply embedded in the city, which inspires many international and national artists, as well as local artists who themselves hail from the city. Throughout the summer, they take over public and urban spaces, sometimes inviting the viewer to question their environment, sometimes offering new perspectives and points of view.
The program of artistic walks, day and night, cultivates and enriches the identity of the city of Metz and its urban, architectural and landscaping heritage.
