Street ceramics
The K.releuses plan to bring to light some of Metz’s hidden gems by repairing the cracks that have been revealed in its pavements and squares. Inserted into the nooks and crannies of public spaces, the K.releuses create dozens of painted ceramic landscapes depicting wild flora and fauna and local landscapes. These images serve as a medium for telling tales to passers-by, and together testify to a form of imaginary collective beauty of the land.

Based in Pantin, Les K.releuses pool their energy to repair cities while telling stories and filling cracks in the street with hand-painted tiles. The idea is to bring some surprise into people’s everyday lives, and to rekindle the connection between living beings and the environment around them.
